Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been one of the most hyped games this year, and sadly, it's one of those "love-it or hate-it" games, and possibly for me, one of the biggest disappointments of the year.

If you're looking for a good replacement for Dance Dance Revolution, 1) Why? 2) There's a good one right here called StepMania. This game is frighteningly similar to Dance Dance Revolution in both gameplay and interface.

Freeplay Friday: Soldat
Ever wonder how a modern day multiplayer first-person shooter would work as a 2D sidescrolling shooter? Me neither! And then I found Soldat, a faithful recreation of the FPS genre without the FP. You've got your running, your gunning, your pointing and shooting. You have game modes such as Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Last Man Standing. You've got the weapons, like the sniper rifle, rocket launcher, and deulies. It's all here. The only major difference in the gameplay is the fact that it's in a different perspective than what you're used to. I recommend it for the fact that it's a hell of a lot of fun to play at no cost.
