Quake Live

Yeah, another Free Play Friday technically Saturday, I know. But this one is worth it, because it's friggin' Quake. It's friggin' Quake... In your web browser. This game is great for a number of different people, whether you want to relive classic online shooters, play a quick game in your web browser, or have something free and easy for LAN parties. Be warned though: The game boasts a match-making system based on skill, but it just doesn't work. I played on a server recommended for me and got my ass handed to me, whereas on another server recommended for a skill level below me, the kill/death ratio was much closer (although I had 5 more kills than deaths). Also, the training bot will more than likely kick your ass so hard you'll crap out your head, but try not to worry about it.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

If you ever had a Super Nintendo as a kid, you were a complete loser if you never even bothered to rent Kirby Super Star, which was without a doubt, one of the best platform games on the system. Over a decade later, it has risen from the grave as a handheld DS title, Kirby Super Star Ultra, and this time... it's on a handheld.

I hate this game.

TrackMania DS

TrackMania on the Nintendo DS is one of the best console to handheld conversions I've ever played (well, more like PC to handheld). Yes, the high octane arcade-style gameplay found in TrackMania titles before it arrives intact in the palms of your hand.
